1963-492ORDINANCE NO. 492 ORDINANCE`'OF CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION '13 -2 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES THEREBY PROVIDING THAT OCCUPATIONAL LICENSES SHALL EXPIRE``ON OCTOBER #1ST"OF EACH YEAR- SHALL ANY LICENSE TAX UNPAID FOR NINETY DAYS AFTER ITS DUE}DATE "SHALL BE DELINQUENT AND INCUR A PENALTY OF TEN PERCENT (10%) OF ORIGINAL AMOUNT OF SUCH LICENSE TAX BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA: 1. That Section 13 -2 of the Code of Ordinances of "the- City of South Miami, Florida, is hereby amended so that said section shall read as`foiIlows: SEC. 13-2.- Term and Duration - Penalty for Operation after due date. No license shall be issued for more than one year, all licenses shall expire on the 1st day of October of each year, except as otherwise provided by 'law. Whenever any license tax provided by this chapter or or any other ordinance of the City, to be paid to the Tax Collector, shall remain unpaid after its due date for a period of 90 days, the tax shall be deemed delinquent and there shall be added thereto and become a part of•the tax, a penalty of 10% of the original amount of such license tai:. 2. Thi6 ordinance shall become effective upon its enact- ment in the manner provided by law.
