Regan, our Real Estate Disposition Officer, to the effect that we recommend the temporary deferment of the re-zoning request in our letter of November 3, 1969, for future action. f Our Acquisition Section advises us that all of the parcels) contained in the request, were in an Eminent Domain Suit, however we do not have Final Judgments on Parcels 3377,-34-10, 35-8, -37-2,4,5&6, and 35-8. Owners of these parcels have the option to contest the values offered. Masson, Director I Public Works Department City of South Miami City .Hall South Miami , Florida Dear Mr. Masson: In accord with your suggestion that the Metropolitan Dade County Department of Housing and Urban Development requests that the City of South Miami initiate zoning revisions in the South Miami Neighborhood Development Program Area, by Resolution No. 2520-68, as approved November 27, 1968 by the City Council of the City of South Miami , we hereby request that such action be initiated in an area proposed for medium density development. Approximately 8 square blocks are proposed in the Land Use Plan for medium density development in the South Miami Neighborhood Development Program, however there can be no guarantee that the Neighborhood Development .Program will have funds available for the acquisition and disposition of all parcels contained within this proposed medium density area. Therefore, we request that only those areas, namely those of the 1969 Action Year, be included in '.the zoning reclassi- fication action. The subject area is bounded by SW 59th Avenue on the east, SW 69th Street on the south, SW 62nd Avenue on the west and SW 67th Street on thelnorth, excluding Block 33 Parcels I , 2 and 3, Block 34 Parcels 1-7 and 14.
