MURRAY June 6, 1994 Mr. Dean Mimms City of South Miami 6130 Sunset Drive South Miami, FL 33143 In Ref. : Our file no. 94-189 Dear Mr. Mimms:• Kindly review the enclosed gross floor area to parking space units figures for 5714-5804 Commerce Lane. Your figures and my figures are both based on 40 total parking spaces. However, my figures show that there would be adequate parking space on the premises even with another automotive use in a 1625 sq. ft bay. My question is whether the City is calculating parking space for each individual bay or whether there is a cumulative basis for calculating parking space. I believe that theM is adequate parking upon my clients property and that the City is imposing an unwarranted burden upon my client, namely Morris Investment Partnership. Please contact me regarding this discrepancy as my client has potential clients for the premises and would like to fill the empty bays. V y u urs, G HN P.
