SU'!JEC`l: Delegation of authority, per Section 12 of the Ch artor of the
City of South i(iprii, as A:,:ondod.
During the period of July 160 1951 and Soptomber 15, 1951, the
following datios are hereby delegated to the following personnel:
1. Tax roll and secretarial duties: Elva 11. Cnrballo.
2. `tinicignl Court: Deputy Clerk, P. D. Loyless -
Clorical viork, Faye Snuorland
3. Inspection Department and Occupational licenses, Ruby BarRell
4. Zoning information: Any question that cannot be determined on
basis of maps and ordinances, and would require clarification,
should be referred to oho Advisory Zoning and Planning Board.
5. Sanitation Department: Faye Sauorland
6. liVrovement Lion Distrirtts: Ownership lists, notices, etc.,
Faye Sauorland and P. D. Loyless
7. All bookkeeping, accounting, and general finance: P. D. Loyless
8. Council Meetings: (a)Insofar as the taking and triinscribing of
minutes is concerned, arrangements have been authorized by the
Mayor and Council whereby this work is to be done by a stenotype
service. For attendance at the meetings, to provide the material
for the agenda, and to keep an outline of actions taken, so that
this information may be available at the office the following day
and until -such time as the transcribed minutes are received,
Faye Sauorland.
1 (b)The editing of transcribed minutes will be done by
Mayor Fritz.
9. While all of the above have been authorized to sign TTV name vas d
initial it, on general receipts, I have designated P. D. Loyless as my
deputy -wherever my true signature is required, such as checks, resolutions
and ordinances, affidavits, warrants, municipal docket and rinutes, in
that a signature staid is to be made wider which he is to sign his name
as deputy.
10. Typing, stenographic work, and general clerical: Robert E. Pollack
11. All employees are asked to cooperate in every respect in helping
each other.
12 . Any question that may arise during rN' absence shall be submitted to
the Committeeman in charge of Finance, J. M. Bryant, or to Mayor J. W. G.
Fritz.
