WHOREAS9 appropriations for the fiscal year 1950-51 as set forth
in Ordinance No. 215 have in some departments and divisions proven in-
sufficient and in others a# unencumbered balance remains, and
WHEREAS, the total amount of the unencumbered balances and the
excess accruing -revenues exceeds the total amount of the deficits9 and
14 EREAS, the Mayor in accordance with Section 23 of the Charter
of the City of South Miami has requested the transfer of certain unen-
cumbered balances and appropriations of excess revenues to those de-
partments and divisions for which the appropriation for the fiscal
year 1950-51 has proven insufficient,
NOW2 THEy7"ORE2 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH LIIA11I2 FLORIDA:
1. That the unencumbered balances of the following departments
be reduced as follows:
Fire Department F-3 Equipment 15.00
Municipal Building M-3 emirs 70.00

?nspection Department I-1 Salaries & fees 200.00
Streets & Parks SP-1 Salaries 4,000.00
Totaling- 4,285.00 '
2. That these amounts be added to the original appropriation of
the following departments, to provide sufficient funds for operation
thereof for the balance of the fiscal year.
