1926-11Resolution Il. A resolution authorizing the issuance of a certain warraant by the Town of South 'Miami, Fla. VHEREAS, sufficient revenue has not been collected by taxation with which to pay that certain note in the sum of One Thousand ($1000,00) Dollars maturing August 9th, 1926, heretofore given the Commercial Bank_& Trust Co. of Miami, Fla. by the Town of South Miami, Fla.; and WHEREAS, it is necessary that said note hereinabove mentioned be re- newed with the City National Bank & Trust Co. of Miami, Successor to the Commercial Bank & Trust Co.; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of South Miami that there be issued in the name of said Municipality a town warrant in favor of the City National Bank & Trust Co. of Miami for the sum of One thousand ($1000.) Dollars, payable ninety (90) days after date with interest at 8% per annum, payable semi - annually, to take up the note heretofore issued to the Commercial Bank & Trust Co., maturing on the date of August 9th, 1926, as aforesaid. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Town Clerk of said Munici- pality be, and they are authorized, empowered and directed to cause said warrant for said amount to be issued in the name of the said Town of South Miami and to deliver same to the City National Bank & Trust Co. of Miami. Passed and adopted by the Council August 18th, 1926. Resolution `I Be it resolved that Dorn Bros., owners of building occupied by L. R. Geiger of cleaning and pressing plant, be notified to take steps at once to abate the nuisance caused by smoke from chimney of boiler in rear of building at corner of Dorn St. and Sunset Rd. Passed and adopted August 18, 1926 Resolution 10 Be.it resolved that the Town Engineer be authorized to proceed with the preparation of plans, specifications and estimates and to advertise for bids on Improvement District Number One (1) and Two (2), and that his_fee be paid only upon the fulfillment of the proposed Special Improvement Certificates for the construction of the projects heretofore named.
