ORDINANCE NUMBER
AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, ADOPTING A BUDGET OF
$14,242,617 AND PAY PLAN FOR THE 2004/2005 FISCAL YEAR;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; AND AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has submitted a proposed budget together with a budget
message and supporting schedule including a pay plan; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 200, Florida Statutes, the Mayor and City Commission
are required to adopt a tentative, and thereafter, a final budget for the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA THAT:
Section 1. The Budget for the fiscal year, as submitted by the City Manager, including the
pay plan, as filed in the City Clerk's Office, in an amount of $14,242,617 be and the same is
hereby approved.
Section 2. If any section, clause, sentence, or phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held
invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, the holding shall not affect the
validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this
ordinance are repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approved.
