1. To administer and supervise all activities assigned by the
City Council.
2. To administer the directives of all coLMlittees chosen by
the City Council including the Committees of r'inance, Fire,
Police, Streets and Parks, BuiM-in ;s end Sanitation.
3. To Supervise under the Direction of the City Council the
offices of the building Inspector, Plumbing Inspector,
Electrical Inspector, Tax assessor, etc., except the City
Clerk, City Attorney and the i..unicipal judge.
4. 20 make a complete report to the City Council at each
regular meeting.
B - To examine the qualifications of and select the applicant who may
be the better qualified for the position herein created.
C - To determine his salary, which shall not exceed 5,100.CO -per year.
D - To recommend any other action that may be deemed necessary for the
establishment of the said office and for the interest of the in-
habitants of the City and the offices which shall be consolidated.

the electors in public referendum, the City Council, with the City ,Attorney
shall prepare the necessary amendments to the City Charter for submission -
to the State Legislature for approval and adoption, provided, that this
last step does not stop and delay the creation of the position of Supervisor
of Public ;'forks and the appointment of a person to fill such office vihile
the Charter amendment is in process.
This resolution shall be construed not inconsistent with the City Charter,
Resolutions or Ordinances novt in full force and effect.
