RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, RELATING TO
BOARDS AND COMMITTEES; APPOINTING SARAH N. ARTECONA
TO SERVE ON THE COMMISSION FOR WOMEN FOR A TWO YEAR
TERM ENDING APRIL 5, 2006; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Commission recognize the important
contributions made by those who serve on the various city boards and
committees, and wish to appoint a full complement to each of the
active boards and committees; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to appoint Sarah N. Artecona
to serve for a two year term on the Commission for Women. Appointment
shall expire April 5, 2006 or until a successor is duly appointed and
qualified.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission hereby appoints Sarah N. Artecona
to the Commission for Women.
Section 2. The expiration date of this appointment shall be April
5, 2006 or until a successor is duly appointed and qualified.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
approval.
