RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI,
FLORIDA, RELATING TO ELECTIONS; APPOINTING
VELMA PALMER, TO SERVE AS VICE MAYOR IN SUCH
CAPACITY UNTIL FEBRUARY 14, 2006; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, at the general election on February 10, 2004, Velma Palmer
was elected as the candidate from Group III and received the highest number of
votes in that election.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA;
Section 1. That Velma Palmer be and is hereby appointed as Vice-
Mayor of the City of South Miami, Florida to serve in such capacity until February
14, 2006.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon approval.
