46 anything that comes back from FEMA goes back into the cash

COMMISSION REMARKS
Commissioner Sherar expressed concern about the curfew
imposed by the County after Hurricane Wilma. He said that this is
causing a lot of inconvenience to residents who work during the
day and need to try to find gas or other articles of necessity in
the evening.
Mayor Russell said that during the peak of the hurricane
there was a robbery in South Miami. She said this as an
illustration for which the curfew is designed to give the police
the tool to keep people with ill intentions off the streets and
to protect the community.
Commissioner Wiscombe added that in North Miami Beach they
had a lot of looting and that is what triggered it.
Commissioner Birts- Cooper asked the community for patience
towards neighbors running noisy generators.
There being no further business to come before this Body,
the meeting adjourned at 6:26 p.m.
