Resolution No. 7
A RESOLUTION FOR GRADING, LEVELING, LAYING AND PAVING 'OF SIDEWALKS
IN THE TOWN OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, DESIGNATED AS IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT N0:2; AND-PROVIDING FOR SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR SAID
IMPROVEMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the town of South Miami, Florida:
1. That a standard ten (10) foot concrete side walk be graded, leveled and
paved on both sides of Sunset Road from'the West side of Red Road to the
East side of W. Ingraham Highway, also on the South side of Sunset Road
co;pmenci6g at a int opposite the East line of Ross Avenue, and extending one
hundred ten (11057 eet east "_6 connect with walk now constructed. That a
standard eight (6. foot side walk be graded, leveled and paved- on(the South
side of Sunset Road, also on both sides of Dorn Street from the North side
of Sunset Road to the South side of Hinson Street, also on both sides of
Sunset Road from Ross Avenue to a point one hundred thirty five (135) feet
West of the West side of East-End Avenue, together with all intersection
corners.
2. That all the cost of the said improvement be paid'by special assessment,
and shall be levied upon the land described as follows:
All lots and lands'Adjoining and contiguous or boLil� ding, and abutting
upon any of such improvement.
3. The special assessments levied on the above descrived po�operty for said
improvement shall be aid in ten (10) equal yearly installm'nts with interest
at the rate of six (j per cent per annum, payable dnnualli./
4. That no Bart of the-cost for making said improvement s all be paid from
general improvement fund of the Town of South Miami, Flo/r`da.
5. That the total estimated cost of said improvement i /:'sixteen thousand
Dollars ($16,000) (IN PENCIL 35,000)
