Reason/Need: Since 2001 we have been talking about reviewing all our permit and service fees. With is the assistance of Parks & Recreation Department staff, we have completed the review. In performing the review, the department was asked to compare our fees and services with at least three neighboring cities. As a result, the attached supporting document labeled as "Comparison of Fees from different Cities" shows comparison of fees and services with the following cities: • City of Coral Gables • City of West Miami • City of Miami Although some of our proposed fees were slightly increased, they are still lower or equal to our neighboring cities.
