3 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION
4 OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, RELATING TO
5 BOARDS AND COMMITTEES; RE-APPOINTING CHARLES
6 RUIZ DE CASTILLA TO SERVE ON THE HISTORIC
7 PRESERVATION BOARD FOR A TWO -YEAR TERM
8 ENDING NOVEMBER 5, 2010; AND PROVIDING AN
9 EFFECTIVE DATE.

11 WHEREAS, The Mayor and Commission recognize the important contributions
12 made by those who serve on the various city boards and committees, and wish to appoint a
13 full complement to each of the active boards and committees; and
14
15 WHEREAS, The City Commission desires to re- appoint Charles Ruiz de Castilla
16 to serve for a two -year term on the Historic Preservation Board. Appointment shall expire
17 November 5, 2010 or until a successor is duly appointed and qualified.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The City Commission hereby re- appoints Charles Ruiz de Castilla
to the Historic Preservation Board.
Section 2. The expiration date of this appointment shall be November 5, 2010
or until a successor is duly appointed and qualified.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon approval.
