Years after the sales and successful integration, DVS continues to support the Arena. THE HOLLAND PROJECT Holland America Lines chose Digital Video Systems, Inc to design and integrate a new broadcast studio and satellite system for their entire fleet of S & R and Vista class ships. This multi - million dollar project .was placed in the capable hands of Mr. Rafael Pineda, DVS' Senior Systems Engineer to design and manage the installation of the broadcast studios and Mr. Jerry Tyson, DVS' President and lead engineer for the tracking satellite system. Together with other engineers and technicians from our engineering department and other company resources, they have managed to pull off a very large and complex project without problems and on time. The design for the broadcast studio called for new and innovative ideas never before used on a cruise ship studio. With the support of some of the industry's best manufacturers and our engineering expertise, DVS came up with a system that is now the envy of the cruise industry. Client: Holland America Cruse Line Install type: Broadcast Room Integrations Digital Video Systems won this multi - million dollar project based on our extensive manufacturer representation and our broadcast design, and integration expertise. DVS completed fourteen broadcast rooms for Holland America. DVS provided cost effective broadcast systems with unparallel quality and on time completions. We have been working closely with them for about 10 years. I have established relationships with all the techs as well as the management and sales team. They seem to have a great grasp on audio visual needs for academic scenarios. They have proven to be a valuable resource for us here at The University of Miami in keeping our classrooms equipped with the latest in classroom technology. Our latest project with Digital Video Systems involved renovating 25 classrooms in 2 different buildings. We contracted about 1.2 million dollars in audio visual equipment and installation entirely through Digital Video Systems this past summer. We are elated with the results and our students and faculty are indeed impressed. We are contracting them to renovate 42 more classrooms next summer. I, as well as my superiors, have complete confidence in Digital Video Systems and have relied on them to complete large tasks in small timeframes. Renovating classrooms is very difficult at a busy university because classes are in use nearly year round. Digital Video System works around normal hours to complete the projects in a timely manner. No other company that I have worked with would have had the manpower or resources to complete our classroom projects to my satisfaction. I highly recommend them for any audio visual project. Dating back to 1999 DVS has been working with our staff of engineers as well as theirs in the design and integration of the Broadcast System throughout the Arena Facility. Since and including the original installation Digital Video Systems has sold and integrated in excess of 2.5 million dollars within the Miami Heat/AAA Facility. Digital Video Systems continually introduces new technologies to our staff for consideration to insure that we stay current with today's ever changing technologies. I highly recommend DVS to be considered in any of your integration and installation needs as well as their ability to train you and your staff on the operation of these technologies that you may be considering. Digital Video Systems has been an essential partner in developing technology enhanced classroom solutions at Lynn university. We have been spending over $300,000 per year for the last two years on modernizing our classrooms. Your assistance with selecting the right furniture, interactive technology, and audio visual systems has been the reason we have been so successful. No other company we have ever considered. has demonstrated the same level of up front engineering skill from the beginning of a project plan.' I wanted you to know that I have received many complements on the new baseline technology package we refer to as a level 2 classroom. This summer we were able to modernize 18 sites with a good mix of basic room packages and more advanced classrooms with SMART boards, document cameras, and rich media capturing systems. We never would have been able to complete the summer projects of this size ourselves in the few days of open time we have available for construction each summer. Thank you for your good work, &V p4t4 Derek Parker 3601 North Military Trail, Boca Raton, Florida 33431 -5598 (561) 237 -7000 wwwlynn.edu Ir ' • ERIC CHANIN • AUDIO VISUAL SPECIALIST, INC. 17874 SW. 137TH PLACE MIAMI, FL 33177 - - —Y-303- 233 -9824 Office 305- 235 -4759 Fax —EIN# 65- 0827239 THE AUDIO VISUAL S PECLALIST.1 c October 2, 2008 Gremaf Reyes M.I.S Manager City of South Miami 6130 Sunset Drive - South Miami, Fl. 33143 305 -663 -6320 Phone 305- 6664591 Fax greyes @cityofsouthmiami.net , QUOTE Dear Mr. Reyes: Here is what I have come up with as per conversation And your email about cameras.
