00-0734-007 USE OF LICENSED ASBESTOS PROFESSIONALS Effective July 1, 1994, Florida Statutes 469.001-015 require that no person shall conduct an asbestos survey, develop an operations and maintenance plan, prepare abatement specifications, or monitor and evaluate asbestos abatement, unless licensed as an asbestos consultant by the State of Florida. No person shall conduct asbestos abatement unless licensed as an asbestos contractor by the State of Florida.
