❑ Make sure all employees are informed of the preparedness and recovery plan 09
❑ Identify critical personnel and assign recovery tasks
❑ If necessary, assign tasks in shifts so that personnel is not overwhelmed during the storm or recovery
❑ Prepare and distribute a contact list with primary and alternate contact numbers
❑ Provide all employees, especially essential personnel, with sufficient time to secure their homes and families
❑ Check heating, a/c and ventilation system and how to turn it off if necessary
❑ Verify back -up and recovery process
❑ Back up all computers
❑ Unplug and cover all electronic equipment
❑ Raise computer towers or any equipment that sits on the floor
