A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, RELATING TO BOARDS AND COMMITTEES; APPOINTING RICHARD NAZARETH II TO SERVE ON THE CHARTER REVIEW COMMITTEE FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR, ENDING APRIL 21,2009; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, The Mayor and Commission recognize the important contributions made by those who serve on the various city boards and committees, and wish to appoint a full complement to each of the active boards and committees; and WHEREAS, The City Commission desires to appoint Richard Nazareth II to serve for a on the Charter Review Committee for a period not to exceed one year, unless that time is extended by the City Commission. Appointment shall expire April 21, 2009 or until a successor is duly appointed and qualified. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1. The City Commission hereby appoints Richard Nazareth II to the Charter Review Committee. Section 2. The expiration date of this appointment shall be April 21, 2009 or until a successor is duly appointed and qualified. Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon approval.
