A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, RELATING TO BOARDS AND COMMITTEES; APPOINTING SUZANNE GILMORE TO SERVE ON THE AUDIT COMMITTEE FOR A ONE -YEAR TERM ENDING DECEMBER 7, 2010; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Section 218,391, Florida statutes requires the establishment of an audit committee to select an individual or firm to conduct the annual audit of the City's books and records; and WHEREAS, The Mayor and Commission recognize the important contributions made by those who serve on the various city boards and committees, and wish to appoint a full complement to each of the active boards and committees; and WHEREAS, The City Commission desires to appoint Suzanne Gilmore to serve for a one -year term on the Audit Committee. Appointments shall expire December 7, 2010 or until a successor is duly appointed and qualified. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1. The City Commission hereby appoints _Suzanne Gilmore to the Pension Board. Section 2. The expiration date of this appointment shall be December 7, 2010 or until a successor is duly appointed and qualified. Section 3.
