WHEREAS, a Convalescent Home is permitted :in the C-1 zone usage only after a public hearing determining the suitability of the use on the site requested, and WHEREAS,. DAVID A: 'BROOKS duly made application for such hearing and permission on the. lands hereinafter described,. and WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City duly held a public hearing on said application on the' 5th day of July, ' 1967, and recommends that the City Council permit such convalescent home: on the subject lands, and WHEREAS, the City Council, after the holding of a duly advertised ,public hearing, finds and determines that the site involved is suitable for the operation of a Convalescent Home and that the surrounding area would not be adversely effected by such -operation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA: 1. The operation of a Convalescent Home on those lands , legally described as, to-wit: Lots 1, 2, 3,4,5, 6,7 ,8, 18,19, 20, in LARKINS CENTER, according to the Plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 27 at Page 67 of the Public Records 'of Dade County, Florida, is hereby declared to be a suitable use of said lands and such use shall be permitted. Permitted, however, that prior to issuance of a certificate of occupancy, approved landscaping shall be installed and maintained. 2.
