This letter is to inform you that your request for approval of design
for parking and landscaping for Larkins General Hospital
@ 7031 SW 62 Ave
that was presented to the Environmental Review and Preservation Board (ERPB)
on 9/6/88 was approved based on the following conditions:
Provide new lighting layout in which the li hg ting_poles should not
be higher than 12 feet -
X A fifteen-day appeal period must elapse from this date before a permit
can be issued.
X Have your contractor apply for a building permit now. Do not begin
work until you have received a permit.
X The deadline for applications to the ERPB meeting of Se-pt.- 20 is
Sept. 12 before noon.
Decision of the Environmental Review: and Preservation Board can be appealed
to the City Commission by applying in writing to the City Clerk within
fifteen days of that meeting.

7-2 DESIGN STANDARDS
D 7-2- 1 Standard Size Spaces
The minimum dimensions of an off-street parking space
shall be nine (9 ) feet by nineteen ( 19) feet , exclusive
of driveways , except as provided below.
. 01 Handicapped Spaces
Parking spaces for wheel chair drivers and the handicapped
shall have a minimum width of twelve (12 ) feet and a
length of nineteen (19 ) feet , or 21 feet by 19 feet for
two contiguous spaces , and be provided in the following
amounts :
Handicapped Spaces Total Parking Spaces
One ( 1 ) 0 to 20
Two (2 ) 21 to 100
One additional space for
every fifty (50) spaces or
less above one hundred ( 100)
spaces . Above 100
"Parking for Handicapped Only" signs are required for
each parking space .

7-2-2 Design Alternatives
The arrangement and layout of off-street parking spaces
shall comply with the design specifications as set forth
in the accompanying charts which establish several accept-
able alternatives relating to distances , dimensions and
angles .
