Permits for construction work must be on project site at all times. 2. All materials and labor under the project shall be in strict accordance with the requirements of the City of South Miami, Miami -Dade County, and all other local, state, and national codes, where applicable. 3. All construction shall be performed in a safe manner in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). 4. Traffic shall be maintained in accordance with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) standards, Miami -Dade County standards, Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and any additional requirements by the City of South Miami Public Works Department & Police Department. No street shall be closed without written authorization from the Public Works Department and City of South Miami Police Department. 5. Access for local traffic shall be maintained at all times. 6. During construction, the project site and all adjacent areas must be maintained in a neat and clean manner. Contractor is encouraged to notify any affected property owners prior to construction. 7. Disturbed areas shall be restored to equal or better condition than they were before the work started. The restoration shall include the following: • Road /pavement areas shall be restored at least 25' from the edges of disturbed areas and to the edges of pavement. • Sidewalk panels shall be replaced, i.e., the sidewalk shall be restored in full width. • Landscaped areas, including and not limited to grass, sod, shrubs and trees replacement, shall be fully restored. • Brick pavers at intersections.
