South Miami, Florida Gentlemen: I submit herewith, for your, consideration,. a preliminary sketch of an apartment building which I propose to erect on Dots 9 &' 10 Block 6 Townsite of Larkins, located at the corner of S.W. 61st. Avenue and 67th Street in South Miami. As you will notice, the plan ;of .the proposed.:building is r such as to provide a rear set=back of 15 feet from the . south property line whereas .the existing zoning requires a distance of 25 feet. In view of the fact that the present street planning, for:- the neighborhood where this property is located., requires that I dedicate a 5-foot strip of the front, which is the North end, and a 5-foot strip of the side, which is the West side of the property, I believe that I should be permitted to erect this building as shown. Feeling that the proposed apartments would provide badly- needed living quarters in this area and serve a useful purpose in the development of the City of South Miami I respectfully request that this set-back adjustment be granted.
