Their letter requests additional exhibits and data. to be furnished them before further consider- ation can be given the matter. One paragraph pertains directly to the City of South Miami and which I wish to quote : "From the data submitted, and the incomplete records available , it appears that the proposed site is zoned R-1M, permitting lots 60 feet in width. The adjacent area on the west is zoned EU-lA, and a short distance to the south the area is zoned R-lD, both classifications requiring a minimum' of one acre per single family. If the foregoing is correct, it appears desirable to have the proposed site and adjacent areas on the,north, east and south rezoned to R-1C classification (with possible variance to use the lots as proposed, which are slightly smaller than the minimum for R-1C) . This R-1C zone classification might be acceptable as a gradation in harmony with the -1, R-1D and EU-lA in the vicinity. Is thesCity of South Miami agreeable to this?" I would appreciate it very much if we could receive from you an official statement clarifying this point, i ich we will forward to them together with the other information which they have requested from us.
