S.Miami lots Chain Link Fence Dear Mr. Hampton: This letter will serve to confirm the agreement stipulated by you in our recent conversations and thru City Attorney Martin Berg at the December 10, 1992, Hearing in front of the City Code Enforcement Board, whereby in consideration for our family to go thru the trouble and expense of erecting a 6 foot chain link fence around the property, an expense estimated at over $8,500 dollars, the City will pick up all the construction and old furniture debris presently dumped on the property by others, at the City's cost of $59 per ton, which we agree to reimburse to the city. It is further agreed that immediately upon picking up this debris (and therefore clearing the accesses to the lot), we will have the trees felled by the hurricane cut down and properly piled in the lot accesses for the removal of same, and make it accessible for the mowing company to come in and mow the high grass. As soon as all debris is removed from perimeter of property, we will commence with the erection of fence. In the meantime, it is hoped the City will do all it can to help expedite the necessary permits for this construction. On December 16, 1992, when we personally met to discuss all this and ride around the property, I picked up the necessary forms for the permit and ERPB (Environmental Review & Preservation Board application), which require- ments I'm presently meeting so that I can present it on December 28, together with the permit fee, in time for the January 6 meeting in front of ERPB. Incidentally, if you have recently driven by the property you will please notice that the cars illegally dumped on our property are gone. I sincerely hope that with sincere mutual cooperation we can go forth on this project, that we may alleviate this dumping problem which is causing everyone concerned unnecessary headaches, and if all the foregoing is in agreement with you, please confirm same in writing by return mail.
