1. PROVIDE ALL SITE CLEARING, EXCAVATION, FILL, BACKFILL
ROUGH, GRADING, SUB -GRADES AND COMPACTING.
2. TREES TO REMAIN ANDIOR RELOCATE AS SELECTED BY
OWNER, SHALL BE PROTECTED AS REQUIRED.
3. TREES TO BE REMOVED SHALL BE CUT AS DIRECTED BY
THE OWNER. ALL SITE CLEARING DEBRIS AND TREE
STUMPS SHALL BE REMOVED FROM THE JOB SITE.
4. COORDINATE WITH MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING,
AND LANDSCAPING CONTRACTORS AS WELL AS LOCAL
UTILITIES PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION; FOR WATER LINES,
DRAINAGE PIPES, UNDERGROUND ELECTRICAL CONDUITS,
IRRIGATION SYSTEMS AND ANY CONCEALED INSTALLATIONS
WHICH MAY REQUIRE ADVANCE PLANNING OR BE
DAMAGED,
5. MAINTAIN BUILDING SITE CLEAN OF CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS
THROUGH THE DURATION OF THE PROJECT.
6. IF SIDEWALK IS TO BE PROVIDED, IT SHALL BE DIRECTED
BY THE CORRESPONDING PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT.
7. CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY LOCATION OF UTILITIES PRIOR TO
SUBMITTING BIDS.
8. PRIOR TO THE BUILDING FINAL INSPECTION A
CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE SHALL BE ISSUED
TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT BY THE LICENSED
PEST CONTROL COMPANY THAT CONTAINS THE
FOLLOWING STATEMENT:
'THE BUILDING HAS RECEIVED A COMPLETE TREATMENT FOR
THE PREVENTION OF SUBTERRANEAN TERMITES.
TREATMENT IS IN ACCORDANCE WITH RULES AND LAWS
ESTABLISHED BY THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE
AND CONSUMER SERVICES'.

LANDSCAPE PLANTING NOTES
GENERAL:
All plant material shall be installed in strict accordance',#ith sound nursery practices and
shall include mantenance and watering for all work outlined on the plans until final acceptance.
All plant material furnished by the landscape contractor, unless otherwise
specified, shall be Florida #1 or better and shall be installed as specified in the most current
edition of Grades and Standards for Nursery Plants, State of Florida Department of
Agriculture and Consumer Services.
PLANTING: All planting holes shall be excavated to a minimum of 1 1/2'times the diameter
of the root ball of plant to be planted and backfilled with planting soil. Plant beds shall be
excavated to a minimum of 12' and backfilled with planting soil.
PLANTING SOIL: Planting soil shall be a mix of 50% muck and 50% sand for all trees
and shrubs. Trees and shrubs shall be fertilized at time of planting with agriform planting tablets,
20-10-5 formula, 21 grams, at manufacturers recommended rate.
MULCH: All plants and plant beds shall have a 3' layer of ciean, weed free, organic mulch
(Melaleuca or eucalyptus where possible). Mulch shall contain less than 10% wood chips.
WATERING: Initially water the plant material to developer uniform coverage and deep
water penetration of at least 6". Avoid erosion, pudding, and washing soil away from plant
STAKING AND GUYING: All trees will be staked or guyed in an upright position, per
planting details, at time of planting until establishment. All plants shall be installed so that
the top of the root ball remains even with the soil grade.
SOD: Sod shall be clean and visibly free of weeds, noxious pests and diseases.
