Staff Analysis: The applicant is proposing to paint the exterior facades of the above listed property. The applicant has chosen Blonde Beauty (111-2) for the exterior walls of the building, Butterfly Bush (212-3) for the exterior trim and Capri Cream (112-1) for the exterior doors. Pursuant to Section 20-8.13(A)[20-7.24(A)] Architectural Standards- Colors, Land Development Code; Applicants may choose up to four colors for a single building (one (1) or two (2) body colors, one (1) or two (2) trim colors, and one (1) accent color, these may be the same or different). The Board has customarily used the above guidelines to respond to commercial painting in other zoning districts other than Specialty Retail, and may continue to do so. Pursuant to the Land Development Code the newly proposed color scheme is acceptable, a total of three colors are being proposed.
