As you and I discussed, U.S. Postal Service officials suggested that I contact your office for guidance regarding local address numbering practices and preferences. The Surgery Center sits on two lots at 7000 and 7020 SW 6181 Avenue. In addition, it is located at the corner of 618`Avenue and SW 70th Street. It appears that a SW 70th Street address would be preferable for two patient-friendly reasons: • Given the local street grid, SW 70th Street seems easier to reach since it connects with both Dixie Highway and SW 62nd Avenue. Turning restrictions on SW 618t Avenue make it a bit more challenging to reach—even with the best directions and especially for newcomers to the area. • Upon reaching the facility, patients and visitors would find the walk-in entrance and patient parking area are accessed from SW 70th Street That having been said, the Center would like to request a formal address change to 6110 SW 70th Street. I hope that you.find this a reasonable request and would be happy to prepare any supplemental information that you and your staff may require.
