Request: The applicant is requesting approval for
the renovation to the existing building,
located at the above referenced address.
Applicant present:
Action: At today's meeting the Board, staff and applicant discussed the request for exterior
renovation. The applicant's intent is to propose an outdoor seating area for the existing restaurant.
The pro osed outdoor dining is to be located at the main entrance to "Khoury's Restaurant," facing
SW 73` Street. The expansion, at an overall dimension of 8'-0"X 42'-11", eliminates one parking
space but one additional parking space has been provided at the west side of the building.
Motion: Mr. Trautman moved for preliminary approval of the new wooden deck, new awnings,
planters, and elimination of one parking space and the addition of one parking space at the west
side of.the building. Mr. Jude seconded the motion.
Vote: Approved 4 Opposed 0

renovation. The applicant's intent is to renovate the exterior and accommodate the interior for the
new business. The proposed outdoor renovation consists of exterior painting,awnings and signage.
The one story corner building currently occupied by "Sparkling Pools" and the new tenant will be
"Fine Arts Photography." Exterior paint colors, awning and signage location are all specified on
the elevations.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION:

STAFF ANALYSIS:
The site is currently zoned MO (Medium-Intensity Office) and a photography studio is a
permitted use at the district. The applicant's intent is to renovate the exterior and
accommodate the interior for the new business. The proposed outdoor renovation
consists of exterior painting, awnings and signage.
The one story corner building currently occupied by "Sparkling Pools" and the new
tenant will be "Fine Arts Photography." Exterior paint colors, awning and signage
location are all specified on the elevations. Please refer to the plans for additional
information.
At this time, the applicant seeks approval of the exterior renovation from the ERPB.
