Upper storage cabinet to have 24" of closed storage and 48" wide of vertical storage for files and x-rays. c. All x-ray rooms to have the same as note b above. d. All laboratories to have 20'-0" lineal feet of base and upper cabinets. The typical plastic laminate cabinets throughout shall be as follows: 1. Flush overlay design of particle board with all exposed edges plastic laminated; interiors to have plastic laminate; hinges to be concealed pivot hinges; drawers on full extension glides, and Pendaflex file rails. 2. Base cabinet to be 36" high, 1-112" countertop, full splash, 4" recessed base and fixed shelf where applicable, except where noted on Interior Elevations. 3. Provide adjustable shelves in upper cabinets. Adjustable shelves to be 3/4" particle board with plastic laminate finish: Provide holes drilled at 3" o.c. vertically on vertical supports. Holes to be spaced 6" apart horizontally. Provide clear plastic pegs to support shelves (no shelves are to exceed 3'0" in length). 4. Architect to select all plastic laminate colors, textures, and hardware pulls. 5. Provide 112" plywood backing within studs for cabinets as shown on plans. 6. Provide hard rubber wire grommets on work surfaces to handle electrical and telephone wires. Provide wire management channels where applicable. Grommet color to coordinate with mica finishes. 2 May 1995 SOUTH MIAMI PROFESSIONAL BUILDING Page Four TERRACE ENCLOSURE The shell construction is to match the existing construction of the building. Windows are to match the configuration of the floors below. All the interior build out will fall under the provisions of the typical tenant space. GENERAL CONDITIONS The following are specialty items pertain to the building, but not to any of the above divisions. 1. There are to be two roll down gates, one at the entrance of the lower parking, and one at the entrance of the upper parking. These gates are to be integrated with the security card system. The lower parking gate should have work with a remote control _ device for easy access. 2. The handicap ramp leading to lower parking should have gate. The gate should be hooked up to the security.card system. 3. Security card system should control the following items: a. Two roll down gates. b. Two doors at the,elevator lobby enclosure. c. Staircase leading directly out to the two parking levels. 4. Attached to these preliminary specifications, is an inspection report by ALL BUILDING INSPECTION, INC.which notes all the items that have to be repaired or replaced to have this building in good working conditions.
