Late that morning I placed an emergency call to Ms . Gloria Recio- Rodriguez , your Department Head Secretary, and asked for a mechanical inspection of the new Metro-Dade Fire Station, next to the South Miami Metrorail station. Ms . Rodriguez responded in a truly helpful, wholly professional way , and made arrangements for one of Mr. Harold Schoendorf's inspectors to make the inspection at 2 : 00 p.m. the same day. The inspection was carried out , the new station was inaugurated the following day, and a temporary Certificate of Occupancy has been issued. Again, many thanks to you and your fine staff for helping us in our time of need, with special thanks to Ms . Rodriguez , on whose help our request depended.
