07-1605-008I 0 f Electrical Notes: I. All electrical work shall comply with the latest editions National Electrical Code, Florida Building Code and all other applicable codes. 2. Electrical Contractor shall obtain all necessary and required permits and licenses for the work under this contract. 3. Electrical Contractor shall provide and maintain temporary power and light outlets for use by other trades. 4. Electrical Contractor shall provide all material and labor for the connection of equipment being installed under this contract by other trades. S. Electrical Contractor shall visit the site and verify all existing conditions. Notify Architect/Engineer in the case of a discrepancy. 6. Electrical Contractor shall be responsible for providing roof sleeves and proper flashing for all pipes crossing any roof and all required pipe wall sleeves inclusive of any required fire stopping through fire rated walls. 1. Gable and wire Indicated on drawing shall be cooper. WC in sizes no. 14,12 And 10 awg; 75'C in sizes no. 6 and larger. 6. Condult Installed under ground shall be pvc schedule 40. Conduit installed exposed to weather shall be IMC conduit, installed elsewhere shall be EMT.. Flexible conduit used where indicated shall be "seal-tite". cl. 6enerally outlet locations may be scaled with reasonable accuracy. Outlets shall be flush with finish surface. Junction boxes shall be.9olvanized steel with screw or hinged covers for Indoor locations and weatherproof where exposed to weather or as Indicated in plans. 11. Electric Contractor shall perform all necessary work for a complete electrical installation and shall provide all necessary instruments and special apparatus to conduct any test that shall be required to insure the system is free of all Improper grounds and short circuits. 12. Although drawings are usually to scale, the drawings are diagrammatic; location of any equipment shall be verified at the site unless otherwise noted on plans. 15. Electrical Contractor shall verify all wlre and conduit sizes, and loads of equipment prior to proceeding with work and must make all necessary adjustments as required. Notify the Architect in the case of a discrepancy. 14. Electrical Contractor shall provide and Install all lighting fixtures and lamps as shown on drawings. Provide 10% (min 5 for interior and 3 for exterior) spare lamps of each type to Owner. 15. All electrical receptacles, switch plates and other wiring devices shall be by "Leniton Decora" smooth white color to match background or approved equal. (stainless steel metal plates for exterior use). Submit sample to Architect for approval 16. All circuits shall be numbered and identified at the panel. 11. Bond panel to main as per N.E.G. 680. 16. Electrical Contractor shall prior to installatlon of rough electrical wiring, check and verify name plate data of all electrical equipment to obtain current wire sizes aid over -current protection as per N.E.G. 240-21. Iq. Upon completion of this work the Electrical Contractor shall test the electrical system and shall guarantee all work free from defects of workmanship and/or material for a period of one year from date of acceptance, and shall also provide the Architect/Engineer with as built drawings showing all work Installed. 20. Equipment Intended to break current at fault levels shall have an interrupting rating sufficient for the nominal circuit voltage and the current that Is available at the line terminals of the equipment. Equipment Intended to break current at other than fault levels shall have on interrupting rating at nominal circuit voltage sufficient for the current that must be interrupted. As per N.E.C. 110-d1. 21. The overcurrent protective devices, the total impedance, the component short-circuit withstand ratings, and other characteristics of the circuit to be protected shall be so selected and coordinated as to permit the circuit protective devices that are used to clear a fault without the occurrence of extensive damage to the electrical components of the circuit.
