All door and window ccnstruct'on and !ocking devices shall
comply with the provisions of TI,E Florida Build"ng Code,
nc!ud rg, but not !invited to. tre following criteria:
1, All locks on exterior doors shall be capable of resisting a
force of 300 11'05. applied in any rrovaole direction and in
accordance with rssistarce standards set Forth in Metro Code
ac.
2. All single exterior swirg doors shall have a lock to be keyed
operated from exterior with a minimum of 6000 possible key
changes or :ockirg auxiliary dead bolt with hardened bolt irssrts.
3. The active !ear of pairs of exterior swing doors sha':.l have the
sane locks as required For single exterior swing doors. The
inactive leaf of these pairs shall have multiple point locks with
minimum throw bo'.ts with inserts.
