THIS NOTICE OF RENT ADJUSTMENT is presented to you in
accordance with the terms and conditions of your lease.
Accordingly, this "NOTICE" shall be attached to and made
a part of your dwelling lease.
If backcharges are assessed against you, you are requested
to contact the project office immediately and make
arrangements for the payment of your backcharges.
All other_ covenants, terms and conditions of the lease
remain the same, except as to the monthly rental which is
adjusted as herein stated.
As a resident in public housing, you have the right to
reply to this notice. You have the right to examine DCHUD
documents (including records and regulations) which are
directily relevant to this rent adjustment. This right
to examine DCHUD documents is extended at your request
before your grievance hearing. You shall have the right
to copy any such document AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE.
You have the right to contest the above action in compliance
with the DCHUD Resident Grievance Procedure available in
the mamagement office. In or4er to start this action,
please obtain a grievance form at your management office
and state in writing the action upon which your grievance
is based and the action that you desire taken by DCIJUD
Failure to present your grievance by 5: oo p.m.
waives your right to a grievance hearing.
