Street South Miami Planning and Zoning Board City of South lvdami Dear Sirs: This letter supports our request for a variance to allow construction of an additional room on our existing 4 bed- room house. The additional room will allow a study-re- creation area for three children entering school age. The existing house is placed slightly diagonally on the lot-, and in extending the desired addition, one corner of the room would cross the 15 fool set-back, reac"aiag to within 13 .feet of the adjacent �roberty= line. To make the room dimensions smaller, sufficiently to stay within the existing k5 foot set back would prevent inclu- sion in -the room of all desired facilities and make it unattractive, cramped, and for some of our purposes, unusable. We respectfully request granting of a variance to allow a room addition to reach within 13 feet of the side property line at one corner of the room.
