A RESOLUTION ACTING UPON RECOMMENDATIONS OF
THE ADVISORY PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD ON
APPLICATION OF E. J. LA GOY.
WHEREAS, E. J. LaGoy has made application for a public hear-
ing for a variance to construct a single family residence on non-
conforming Lot 10 and N. 12.5 ` of Lot 11, Block 1 COCOPLUM F
TERRACE, and
WHEREAS, the public hearing was held by the Advisory Plan-
ning and Zoning Board May 1, 1958, and
WHEREAS, the Advisory Planning and Zoning Board recommends
that a variance be granted, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has duly considered this applica-
tion,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI:
That the recommendations of the Advisory Planning and Zoning
Board be and the same are hereby accepted and the variance is
Granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of May A.D. 1958.

Mr. Garber: I move that the Planning and Zoning Board recommend to the City
Council that a variance be granted on the application of Mr. E. J. La Goy, Lot
10 and N 12.5' of Lot 11, Block 1COCOPLUM TERRACE,, to construct a single family
residence on this non-con orming lot under Sec 20-26 (A) (b) of the zoning
code.

"Sec. 20-26. Same - Of not less than eighty per cent of specified areas used for
enumerated purposes.
Lots of not less than eighty per cent of the area or width specified in Article II
may be used under the following conditions:
(a) If the lot was shown as such on the official map of the City of South
Miami at the time this chapter was adopted, and
(b) At said time was separately owned (i.e. , where the owner thereof does not
also own, the owner cannot reasonably obtain the adjoining lot.) However,
if the owner also owned adjacent lots at the time this chapter was adopted,
the minimum width and area requirements of this chapter(as specified in
the following section) shall be met, even if and where this means using
two or more parcels of land or greater area than the minimum required; and "
