APPLICABLE AND TR TRANSITION WHERE INDICATED. ALL GRILLAGE SHALL BE PANTED OF SAME COLOR OF THE CEILING OR DOOR IN WHICH IT IS LOCATED AND

CONTROLLER UTBJZES FIVE TEMPERATURE SENSORS AND ONE HUMIDITY SENSOR THE FUNCTION OF THIS
CONTROLLER IS TO MAINTAIN A PROGRAMMED SPACE AIR TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY.
THE FIRST TEMPERATURE SENSOR (DXSUPPLY) IS MOUNTED AFTER THE DX EVAPORATOR COIL. THIS
TEMPERATURE SENSOR WILL BE USED BY THE MP581 TO CONTROL THE COMPRESSORS TO MAINTAIN A 55
DEGREE (PROGRAMMABLE) DRY BULB TEMPERATURE SETPWNT IN THE COOLING MODE. ON MULTIPLE
COMPRESSOR APPLICATIONS THE FIRST COMPRESSOR IS ENERGIZED AT 51 DEGREE AND THE SECOND 55.
THE SECOND COMPRESSOR IS SHUT OFF AT 49 DEGREES AND THE FIRST 44. THESE SETTINGS ARE

THE NEXT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (ZONETEMP) IS FIELD MOUNTED IN THE SPACE AND WILL BE USED BY THE
MP581 TO ENABLE THE COOLING OR HEATING MODE IN THE COOLING MODE THE (DXSUPPLY) SENSOR IS
ACTIVE AND STAGING COMPRESSORS AS PER THE ABOVE PARAGRAPH. ONCE TEMPERATURE SETPOINT 14

DEGREES. UNDER 85 DEGREES THE FAN IS DISABLED. ON SINGLE CONDENSER FAN UNITS AVARUBLE SPEED
CONTROLLER MODULATES THE SPEED OF THE FAN.
THE LAST TEMPERATURE SENSOR (OASUPPLY) IS MOUNTED IN THE CONDENSER SECTION AND MONITORS
THE OUTDOOR AIR TEMPERATURE.
A HUMIDITY SENSOR (ZONEHUM) IS FIELD MOUNTED IN THE SPACE AND WILL BE USED BY THE MP581 TO
RESET THE DXSUPPLY SET POINT DOWN IF THE SPACE HUMIDITY RAISES ABOVE THE ADJUSTABLE HUMIDITY
SETPOINT. THE DXSUPPLY SETPOINT WILL STAY LOWERED UNTIL THE HUMIDITY SETPOINT IN THE SPACE IS
SATISFIED, AT WHICH TIME IT WILL BE RELEASED BACK TO THE NORMAL. COOUNG SErPOINT, IF THE SPACE
HUMIDITY DROPS BELOW THE HUMIDITY SETPOINT AND THE SPACE TEMP IS SATISFIED, THEN THE DXSUPPLY
SETPOINT WILL BE RESET UP TOWARD THE PROGRAMMED HIGH LIMIT.
WHEN HEATING IS CALLED FOR (BASED ON THE ZONETEMP TEMPERATURE), THE MPMl WILL GO INTO
HEATING MODE
AND THE HEATING STAGES WILL BE BROUGHT ON AS REONRED TO MAINTAIN THE ZONETEMP HEATING SET

GENERAL NOTES:
1. FIRE DAMPER SLEEVE CLEARENCE WITHIN WALL OPENING
Clearance requirements for damper sleeves within a wall openinngs
are based on Ya" per foot of width (or height) unless otherwise stated In the listing of the assembly.
The sleeve may rest on the bottom of the opening, and need not be centered. (Fractional dimensions
shall be taken as the next largest foot).
The sleeve is retained in the wall opening by the use of steel retaining angles (A). These must overlap
the edge of the framing by a minimum of one (1) Inch over and b'e'yond an material In the opening. This
means that the minimum width of the retaining angle would be 1 gyp" ( good practice calls for an additional
safety factor by making the angle In this case 1 Ys" wide).
The dimensions required for the opening shall be those remaining after the opening has been framed
and ere resistive materials provided where required. The fire resistive material shall be equal to the
requirements for fire resistive material used in the constructed wan so that a continuous rating exists at
the wall penetration. The contractor erecting the wall Is responsible for providing the fire resistive
material and ooned size openings to achieve the required clearance.

The fire damper manufacturers' installation details and Instruction as tested and approved by
UL must be used In neu of the above details where applicable.
