Lightfoot, Permit Facilitator Date: October 21, 2009 Re: Request for Tree Removal Permit Performance Bond Reimbursement for 5876 SW 68th Street The purpose of this memorandum is to request that the reimbursement of the performance bond in the amount of$3,226.be issued to Somi Group, LLC. The applicant was granted approval on October 24, 2008 for the removal of three (3) Mahogany trees, one (1) Banyan tree, and three (3) Golden Rain trees at the above listed address. On that same application, approval was also granted for the relocation of four (4) Mahogany trees. The amount in question was required for the relocation of the four (4) Mahogany trees to ensure that they would be protected. At the time of the final zoning-inspection by the city's certified arborist, Doug Baker, and myself on August 25, 2009, it was found that the applicant complied with all of the conditions shown on the tree removal permit. Because of this, the performance bond in the amount of $3,220 can be released back to the applicant. Attached to this memorandum, you will find a copy of the tree removal permit with condition form, documentation from Mr. Baker stating that the bond may be released, and a letter of intent from Agustin Abalo, representative of Somi Group, LLC. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
