I once again would like to thank you for your cooperation in settling that matter. However, I am writing to you today about a proposition involving that same property. As I understand it, the City is underway with a new community redevelopment plan. After speaking with Cathy Vasquez on many occasions it seems the City has an interest in a Community Center in the approximate location of the referenced property. At the July 28, 1994, Code Enforcement Board hearing I brought up in a general way a preliminary proposal dealing w 1 G.he above referenced property. I was later instructed by Esq. , the City Attorney, to make some sort of proposal to yo Ia and send him a copy as it seemed of interest to him. Hence, sending you the following preliminary proposal for your consideration. The property located at 5872 S .W. 68th Street is divided into 10 equal lots as I understand it. Currently, the owner is trying to sell the property either in its entirety or as individual lots. The preliminary proposal, wh�c� owner seems the City twouldlpurchaseathe with, is that he would do n at remaining 5 lots . 7 77 o-, I believe a deal of this nature would greatly benefit the City in its redevelopment plan. Mr. Villafane, the owner of the property, will be in town at the end of this week, and if this proposal sounds of interest to the City a meeting could then be arranged to work out an agreement.
