RE Respectfully Request Wavier of Park Rental Fees
Mayor & Commission
I Reginald M Miller, Veteran USN, respectfully request to have Park Rental and none staffing fees waived
for the proposed 1" Annual SOMI Music Festival to be held on Sunday, May 1 at Palmer Park. In lieu of
the fees, I propose to donate some of the proceeds of the venue to St. Jude Children's Research
Hospital.
I have chosen St. Jude Children's Research Hospital because I have a very intimate relationship with
them. Over my fifteen-year career with Brinker International, the leadership team was tasked with the
honor of paving the way to raise a goal of ten million dollars for their cause. Not only did we meet the
goal, but we also exceeded it. I am proud to have been associated with this effort and deeply believe in
their cause. Thank you kindly for your consideration. .
