An Ordinance related to the fee schedule; amending Ordinance 03-21-2393 to add new fees related
to the payment -in -lieu option for solar panels, to amend the fees for zoning verification letters, and
to add a new fee category.

with this ordinance.
REQUEST:
To amend the Fee Schedule to establish the Solar Collector Trust Fund and establish a fee of
$50.00 per square foot of available solar zone. Planning Department staff also requests
additional amendments to clarify the Variance application fee and the Zoning Verification Letter
fee, and to add a new category, Land Development Code Interpretation Letters, which require
more extensive research and analysis than the typical Zoning Verification Letter.
