Threshold Building Inspection Plan.
Dear Sir:
Please be advised that I, Hector De Los Reyes, P E., the Structural Engineer of Record of
the referenced project, will be the Threshold Special Inspector. I will perform the duties
of Threshold Special Inspector as defined in Section 305.3 of the South Florida Building
Code and in accordance with the permitted drawings. The following is my Threshold
Inspection Plan for the above referenced project
A. Inspection of footing excavation. Consult with Geotechnical Engineer, after
Geotechnical Engineer examines excavations and verifies his foundation
recommendations.
B. Review result of soil compaction testing.
C. Inspection of footing and ground floor slab reinforcement. Inspection of wall and
column dowels. Inspection of concrete pour
D. Inspection of reinforcing for reinforced concrete members at every floor and
roofs. Inspection of post -tensioned slabs reinforcement at every floor and roof.
Inspection of all masonry wall reinforcing and grouting of all concrete pours.
Check of all concrete truck tickets to make sure concrete is poured within the
allowed time by ACI 301. Verify that testing lab is at site taking proper tests.
E. Inspection of all structural steel framing, including visual inspection of
connections.

F. Inspection of connections of all exterior windows and doors.
G. Inspection of all balcony and stair railings and guard rails.
H. Inspection of shoring and re -shoring, to make sure it complies with the approved
shoring shop drawings prepared by a delegated engineer, hired by the General
Contractor.
The inspections will be performed by myself, Hector De Los Reyes, P. E., Robert Garcia,
P.E., Antonio Canelas, Alejandro Martinez, Vicente Franco, Ernesto Garcia, and Orlirio
Hidalgo.
