Existing Zoning Requirements
C - 2 which does not allow the sale of used cars
from an open lot.
All .interested parties are urged to attend the meet-
ing. Written approval or objection may be filed with
the Board prior to the meeting. Failure to file ob-
jection or attend the public hearing shall be deemed
approval. The Board reserves the right to recommend
to the City Council whatever the Board considers in
the best interest of the area involved.

Gentlemen:
I am in dire need of a Special Use Pexmit suggested by the City
Council, to poxmi.t me to operate my avm used car business from the
property which the bought in May of 1956 in preparation for the time
that I =uld need it to go in business for myself. I was granted a
Variance in 1957, but because I did not have sufficient operating
capital at that time, I did not open. I took for granted, seeing
that it was given me at that time, I could continue my plans. We
saved and sacrificed these years and now I am in financial position
to go ahead.
Because of my health, my doctor has advised me to slow dove, and
this is the =way I can, and still support my family and meet my
obligations. One cannot slog doom, and still hold a job or have
sufficient income in the sale of automobiles for a ner. car dealer.
I have sold cars, new and used, for 26 years and thats the only
business I knoti•T.
If you gentlemen see it possible in your hearts to grant me this
pexmit, I have plans to beautify my property that it will be an asset
to all concerned.
