Jessica De la Torre Vila Fw: South Miami Police Officers Retirement Trust Fund I wanted to follow up with you on the appointment of certain elected trustees of South Miami Police Officers Retirement Trust Fund. Several months ago, Jose Lopez and Robert Bukens ran for office unopposed and were elected by acclamation. More recently, Rod was elected as a new trustee. As you know, section 16-33 of the City of South Miami Code of Ordinances requires the City Council to appoint elected trustees as a ministerial act. It is important to get this resolved as early as we can. Please let me know what you need to get this resolved. My records reflect that you and Lopez corresponded on this by email on June 30 and July 3, and the plan administrator notified ofthe election results on July 5. If there is anything additional information that you need to get this on the City's agenda, you might want to check your emails from around this time period. Otherwise, please let me know so that I can get you any necessary information as quickly as possible. Thal")k you for taking care of this. Dustin L.
