1. SECURE APPLICATION FORMS FROM THE ZONING DIRECTORIS OFFICE.
2. HAVE SKETCH OR PLANS WITH SUFFICIENT DETAILS INDICATING THE VARIANCES OR EXCEPTIONS
REQUESTED. FOR CHANGE OF ZONING, PLANS MAY NOT BE REQUIRED. THE APPLICANT IS INSTRUCT-
ED THAT A SEPARATE APPLICATION WILL BE REQUIRED FOR VARIANCES AND EXCEPTIONS AFTER THE
CHANGE OF ZONING HAS BEEN GRANTED BY COUNCIL.
3. FILL OUT THE APPLICATION COMPLETELY AND ACCURATELY WITH SURVEYS, PHOTOS, PLANS, ETC.

Dear Members of the Board:
My application of a change of zoning for the property
legally described as
The East 143.4 feet of Tract 3, NELSON
HOMESITES, as recorded in Plat Book 39,
page 57, of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida,
is based upon the following reasons:
1. The property is situated in such a manner that it
has a frontage of "; 143.4 feet on Southwest 67th Street and the same
frontage on Southwest 68th Street, with a depth of approximately
310 feet.
2. Because of the above location and frontage on both
streets, this property does not lend itself to be developed into a
one acre estate, but more logically should be developed in t.,wo
homesites with the dimensions of the property being 143.4 feet by 150
feet for each side, one facing 67th Street and one facing 68th Street.
3. The houses on the south side of 68th Street and to the
east on 68th Street are all located on pieces of land in the one-half
acre classification.
That development in South Miami as shown by the devel-
opment of the Tranquility Estate on 64th Street and the recent devel-
opment on Miller Road and Sunset Drive where one acre zoning has
been reduced to one-half acres or less, shows that homes are built
immediately on the one-half acre or less sites.
For these reasons I strongly urge that this perty be
re-zoned.
