ELECTRICAL RENOVATION NOTES:
1. ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL MAKE A THOROUGH SURVEY OF EXISTING ELECTRICAL SYSTEM AND FAMILIARIZE HIMSELF WITH IT, AND WITH THE NEW ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
PROPOSED, PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
2. ALL EQUIPMENT SCHEDULED TO BE REUSED, SHALL BE RECONDITIONED TO LIKE NEW. IF COST TO REPAIR OR RECONDITION EXCEEDS NEW COST, THEN THE EQUIPMENT SHALL BE
REPLACED.
3. THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR RECONNECTING ALL ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT IN ORDER TO HAVE A COMPLETE WORKING JOB WHETHER OR NOT THE
EQUIPMENT IS SHOWN ON NEW ELECTRICAL PLANS.
4. DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS PROJECT, THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR MUST CHECK OUT ALL EXISTING CIRCUITS STARTING AT THEIR DISTRIBUTION POINT IN ORDER TO SEE IF THEY
ARE STILL ALIVE.
5. WHEN INSTALLING NEW EQUIPMENT, THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHOULD USE EXISTING CONDUITS AND AVAILABLE CIRCUITS IF POSSIBLE. ALL REUSED CIRCUIT BREAKERS, OUTLETS,
SWITCHES, ETC., SHALL BE INSPECTED AND REPLACED AS NEEDED.
6. TAG EXISTING BRANCH CIRCUITS AND ONLY REUSE THOSE THAT ARE IN LIKE -NEW CONDITION AND COINCIDE WITH THE PLANS.
7. SPACES HAVE BEEN LEFT IN PANEL, IF BRANCH CIRCUITS HAVE BEEN MISSED. ALL ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT REMOVED SHALL BE KEPT IN A SECURE AREA UNTIL OWNERS DECIDE
WHAT TO DO WITH IT.
8. THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL NOT OVERLOAD ANY EXISTING PANEL BOARDS OR FEEDERS, AND NOT TO EXCEED 80% OF THEIR RATED VALUE.
9. ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL EXISTING EQUIPMENT TO REMAIN PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION.
10. SPACES HAVE BEEN LEFT IN NEW PANEL BOARD SO THAT EQUIPMENT OR CIRCUITS MISSED MAY BE CONNECTED.
