NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
By the Council of the City of South Miami, City Hall
6130 Sunset Drive, at 8:00 p.m. , Tuesday, September 3, 1963
There will be a public hearing on the tabled application
of Raymond M. Craig, owner of SW4 of SE4 of NE4 and that
part of the SE4 of SW4 of NE4 lying East of FEC Railroad
R/W all in Section 26, Township 54 South, Range 40 East,
situate in Dade County, Florida, for a change of zoning.
Above property annexed by the City of South Miami
Present County Zoning EU-1
Proposed Zoning RU-1 (single family)
All interested parties are urged to attend the meeting.
Written approval or objection may be filed with the
City Clerk prior to the meeting.

RESOLUTION OF CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA,
ZONING CERTAIN LANDS LYING AND SITUATE IN
SECTION 26, TOWNSHIP 54 SOUTH, RANGE 40 EAST:
SAID LANDS BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
HEREIN
WHEREAS, certain lands were recently annexed to the City
and have not heretofore been placed in a permanent zoning classi-
fication, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board of the City duly
held a public hearing on the 10th day of September, 1963, for the
purpose of hearing of interested parties before making a .recommend-
ation to the City Council as to the proper zoning of said lands,
said lands being more fully described hereinafter, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board recommends to the
City Council that the lands lying South of Southwest 64 Street
be zoned to EU-1 (one acre), the lands lying North of Southwest
64 Street for the depth of one lot be zoned EU-lA. (& acre) and
the lands lying to the extreme North of the tract be zoned RU-lA
(single family residence) and
WHEREAS, after the hearing of interested parties, the City
Council deems it advisable and in the interest and the general
welfare of the City of Soilth Miami, Florida, and its inhabitants,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA;
Section 1. Those certain lands recently annexed to the City
and being legally described as, to-wit:
Beginning at the SW corner of the NE4 of the SE-11
of Section 26, Township 54 South, Range 40 East,
Dade County, Florida, also being the intersection
of the center line of SW 68 Street and the west-
erly boundary line of Nelson Homesites recorded
in Plat Book 39 at Page 57 of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida; thence run northerly
along the westerly boundary of Nelson Homesites,
also being the west line of the aforementioned
NE! of the SE4, to the NW corner of said NS4 of
SE4, being the point of intersection cff' the
center line of SW 69 Avenue and SW 64 Street
(Hardee Road); thence run westerly along the
north line of the SE-1 of said Section 26, also
being the center line of SW 64 Street, (Hardee Road)
to a point on the easterly R/W line of the
Florida East Coast Railway Co. , Miami Belt Line;

thence run northerly along the east boundary
line of said Miami Belt Line, to a point of
intersection with the north line of the SW4
of the NE4 of said Section 26, also being a
point on the center line of SW 60 Street;
thence run easterly along the north line of
the SW4 of of the NE4 of said Section 26 and the
center line of SW 60 Street to the intersection
of the center lines of SW 60 Street and SW 69
Avenue, also being the NW corner of the SE4 of
the NE4 of said Section 26, thence run southerly
along the west line of said SE4 of the NEk to
the SW corner of the N2 of the SE4 of the NE4
of said Section 26; thence run easterly along
the south line of the North 2 of the SE4 of the
NE4 of said Section 26 to the SE corner of the NZ
of the jEk of the NE4 of said Section 26, said point
being on the center line of SW 67 Avenue (Ludlam Road)
thence run southerly along the center line of SW 67
Avenue (Ludlam Road) also being the east line of the
NE4 and the east line of the SE4 of said Section 26,
to the SE corner of the NEk of the SEk of said
Section 26; thence run westerly along the south line
of the NEk of the SE4 of said Section 26 to the SW
corner thereof and the Point of Beginning,
are hereby given the zoning classification and designation of
EU-1 (one acre estates) .
Section 2. The Zoning Director of the City is hereby
authorized and directed to make the necessary changes on the
official zoning map of the City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of September, A.D. 1963.
