ACTIVATION OF ANY MANUAL INITIATION DEVICE WITHIN THE SYSTEM SHALL CAUSE THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS AND INDICATIONS: 1) SOUND THE AUDIBLE CIRCUITS WITH THE EVACUATION TONE AND ACTIVATE THE VISUAL SIGNALS OF THROUGHOUT THE FACILITY. 2) ACTIVATE THE ALARM LIGHT AND SOUNDER AT THE FIRE ALARM CONTROL PANEL. 3) ACTIVATE THE ALARM LIGHT FOR THE ZONE THAT CONNECTS TO THE DEVICE INITIATING THE EVENT. 2. ACTIVATION OF ANY AUTOMATIC FIRE DETECTION DEVICE WITHIN THE SYSTEM SHALL CAUSE THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS AND INDICATIONS: 1) SOUND THE AUDIBLE CIRCUITS WITH THE EVACUATION TONE AND ACTIVATE THE VISUAL SIGNALS OF THROUGHOUT THE FACILITY, 2) ACTIVATE THE ALARM LIGHT AND SOUNDER AT THE FIRE ALARM CONTROL PANEL. 3) ACTIVATE THE ALARM LIGHT FOR THE ZONE THAT CONNECTS TO THE DEVICE INITIATING THE EVENT. 3. ACTIVATION OF ANY DUCT MOUNTED SMOKE DETECTORS SHALL, ACTIVATE A SUPERIASORY SIGNAL AT THE FACP -AND ANNUNCIATORS, CAUSE THE SHUTDOWN OF THE ASSOCIATED AIR HANDLER OR CLOSURE OF THE ASSOCIATED DAMPER. COORDINATE WITH HVAC CONTRACTOR AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. 4. ACTIVATION OF ANY SM @kE DETECTORS IN A SINGLE ELEVATOR LOBBY, AN ELEVATOR EQUIPMENT ROOM OR ELEVATOR HOIST WAY SHALL, BESIDES THE ACTIONS DESCRIBED ABOVE, CAl9SE THE RECALL OR THAT BANK OF ELEVATORS TO THE DESIGNATED LEVEL. 5. ACTIVATION OF THE SMOKE DETECTOR IN THE DESIGNATED LEVEL ELEVATOR LOBBY SHALL, BESIDES THE ACTIONS DESCRIBED ABOVE, CAUSE THE RECALL OF THAT BANK OF ELEVATORS TO THE ALTERNATE RECALL FLOOR. I 6. ACTIVATION OF ANY SMIOKE DETECTOR IN AN ELEVATOR EQUIPMENT ROOM SHALL, BESIDES THE ACTIONS DESCRIBED ABOVE, CAUSE THE ACTIVATION OF THE ELEVATOR WARNING LIGHTS IN THE MAIN AND ALTERNATE RECALL LOBBIES. 7. ACTIVATION OF ANY FIXED TEMPERATURE HEAT DETECTOR IN AN ELEVATOR HOIST WAY OR MACHINE ROOM SHALL CAUSE THE POWER TO THE ELEVATORS IN THAT BANK TO SHUNT. DO NOT CONNECT SHUNT TRIP HEAT DETECTORS TO THE BUILDING FIRE ALARM SYSTEM. COORDINATE SHUNT TRIP OPERATION WITH ELEVATOR CONTRACTOR. 8. ACTIVATION OF ANY SUPERVISORY DEVICE WITHIN THE SYSTEM SHALL CAUSE THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS AND INDICATIONS: 1 ACTIVATE THE SUPERVISORY LIGHT AND SOUNDER AT THE FIRE ALARM CONTROL PANEL AND ANNUNCIATORS, IF ANY. 2) ACTIVATE THE SUPERVISORY LIGHT FOR THE ZONE THAT CONNECTS TO THE DEVICE INITIATING THE EVENT. SCOPE OF WORK 5% R, w INSTALLING 1 SMOKE DET. 2 HEAT DET. AND 2 RELAYS TO THE EXISTING FIRE ALARM PANEL SYSTEM 3. THE SMOKE IS GOING ON THE ELEVATOR TOP OF SHAFT. — 1 OF THE HEAT DET. IS GOING TO BE INSTALLED AT THE ELEVATOR MACHINE ROOM. THE OTHER HEAT DET. IS GOING TO BE INSTALLET AT THE ELEVATOR TOP OF SHAFT_ THE RELAYS ARE GOING TO BE INSTALLED AT THE PANEL, ONE IS GOING TO BE USED FOR THE SHUNT TRIP AND THE OTHER ONE WILL BE USED FOR ELEVATOR WARNING LIGHT.
