A Resolution relating to the cost of the February 13, 2018General Election for the City 3
of South Miami; approving the expenditure of $31,814.24for election costs.4

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of South Miami approved $37,000.00 with the FY 6
2017-2018,budgeted to cover the cost of the 2018General Election of the Mayor and City 7
Commissionersfor Groups Iand IV; and, 8

WHEREAS, the City has received an invoice from the Miami-Dade County Elections Department 10
totaling $31,814.24.11

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF 13
THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA:14

Section 1.TheCity Manager is hereby authorized to pay the attachedinvoice for election 16
costs received from Miami-Dade County Elections Departmentfor the February 13, 2018South Miami 17
General Electionin the total amount of $31,814.24; charging account no.001-1200-512-4920 (Elections), 18
with a balance of $36,966.00.19

Section 2.This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.21
