A Resolution relating to the cost of the February 13, 2018 General Election for the City
of South Miami; approving the expenditure of$31,814.24 for election costs.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of South Miami approved $37,000.00 with the FY
2017-2018, budgeted to cover the cost of the 2018 General Election of the Mayor and City
Commissioners for Groups I and IV; and,
WHEREAS, the City has received an invoice from the Miami-Dade County Elections Department
totaling $31,814.24.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AA"D CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to pay the attached invoice for election
costs received from Miami-Dade County Elections Department for the February 13,2018 South Miami
General Election in the total amount of $31 ,814.24; charging account no. 001-1200-512-4920 (Elections),
with a balance of $36,966.00.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
